Unban Appeals / To Anybody considering replying to an unban request« on: August 18, 2014, 01:05:36 pm »Replying to an unban request
You may not reply with 'good luck' posts. If you want to wish the player luck, PM them. You may only give your argument once. You are not allowed to *suddenly remember* something that may help the player, and such posts will be disregarded. As an onlooker you should not argue with the verdict. Decisions are final and it is the banned player's responsibility to make his own complaints. 3
Unban Appeals / Advices: Making an appeal« on: August 18, 2014, 01:01:54 pm »1. List Old Names
Listing names you have used in the past can help admins put your story together better. This include account names from /changename and regular alternative accounts. ~~~ 2. Give All Information If you don't give us the full story at the beginning, we're less likely to believe you if you 'suddenly' remember something. The more information you give us, the more we can help you. ~~~ 3. Be polite If you're rude towards the admins (Especially the ones trying to help you) it is very unlikely that your account will be unbanned. We understand that people can be angry about being banned but if you are respectful of us, we'll be respectful of you. ~~~ 4. Be Clear This is especially important if your first language is not English. Take the time to re-read your application to make sure it is very obvious what you are talking about. ~~~ 5. Never Assume Don't ever assume you're unbanned. Wait until your topic is marked as 'Unbanned' before even ATTEMPTING to connect to the server. If you connect without that confirmation, you are ban evading and will be banned permanently. 4
Unban Appeals / Read this before Posting an appeal« on: August 18, 2014, 12:54:53 pm »How to make an unban Appeal
Include your name in the topic of the unban appeal. And make sure you use the template below. Template In-Game Name: Who you were banned by: Time & Date banned: Reason given: Additional information: We do not guarantee that this reason will lead to your unban. Posting picture proof usually helps increase your chances though. Not following this format will lead to your request being denied. Do not spam your appeal, it is not more important than everybody else's. Using insults/flaming will lead to the instant denial of your application. If you think that you have been unfairly treated you may re-apply after 5 days. If nobody replies to your post after 24 hours, you may 'bump' the topic once. Find out if you are banned before posting Sometimes you wont be able to connect, but it does not always mean you were ban. There are several reasons why you can connect. 1. On connecting if you receive a grey message stating "You are ban from this server" Close the game, restart samp and try to reconnect. It is usually a bug. 2. Sometimes your virus protection, and or firewall can prevent you from accessing samp. Try to temporarily disable your virus protection and firewalls to troubleshoot this problem. 3. You are using the wrong samp version. Go to http://www.sa-mp.com/download.php and download the latest version of samp. What is the status of my appeal? The status of your appeal can be checked at anytime just but looking at the topic subject of your appeal. Next to your name will be a status code. Status Codes: [Unbanned] = You were unban and can now rejoin the server. [Banned] = Your appeal was rejected and you may not rejoin the server. [Solved] = If you were ban by accident, or a mistake was made. [Pending] = More information is required for this appeal. No late evidences are accepted If you suddently find out an evidence that may help your unban after posting . That evidence might not be count. Many users have been know for Photoshop tricks. 5
The Rules / Forum Rules« on: August 17, 2014, 08:34:08 pm »These rules are temporary
and will be updated in time [Bear in mind the rules may be revised at any point in time and it is YOUR responsibility to view the updated rules.] [Make sure you agree and abide with our terms of service before posting.] 1. No Spamming Spamming floods up the entire forum, it is not a race to get posts. If you post you should say something that is some-what insightful. Posts such as 'LOL' or 'xD' are considered spam because they do not have a reason to even be in this world. This also means that you do not comment on every single topic in the Forum, unless you truly have something to say for each one of them. 2. No Double Posting This branches from rule one, it does count as spam. If you need to fix or add something, there is an 'Edit' button to the top right of your post. Bear in mind that Administrator edits should not be undone or re-posted, they were removed for a reason. A first post with reserved or other used post used for other material in events, ect. is allowed. 3. No Trolling Trolling is the way people express themselves in a very idiotic way because they have something wrong with them that they cannot process normal behavior. 4. No Relentless Insults The server has a no racism policy, you may not insult somebody's Religion, Race, or Country. Heavy insults are also known as flaming. Also do not use an excessive amount of profanity. 5. No Pornographic Material We don't care what your reasoning is, if we see one instance of nudity or sexual acts it will be removed. NO EXECEPTIONS. 6. No Going off-topic Going off topic is plain common sense to know not to do it. It is not cool, if you need to change subject, start a new topic or speak to the Person(s) over forum PM or an Instant Messenger (Such as AIM or MSN). Going off topic usually causes a topic to either be 1) Edited to remove it or 2) Locked due to irrelevance. 7. No illegal links/torrents I think that we might of mentioned this earlier in the year. Torrents are illegal. We don't want anything on this website which could get it removed in any way, shape, or form. XxX does NOT promote piracy. 8. No Posting MTA Server IPs This was not included in Rule 1, because it can sometimes be considered other from Spam to users in the forum. You can go to whatever server you like, but this prevents possible 'bribing' to go to SA-MP servers as well. Discuss this through some type of messaging program or E-Mail with your friends if you want them to play it. Although it is not encouraged if they are content with XxX 9. Do not abuse the Karma system The karma system is a way of keeping track of the website's best and worst users. If you are found to be abusing it, you may be banned from the forums. 10. Do not post in old threads You will see a message at the top of old (14 days +) threads warning you against replying to the topic as it is old. That does not necessarily mean that 14 days is the limit.[/b] Use common sense: If your reply is not constructive and/or the topic is already solved, don't posting in it.
